Collaboration with Bühler
The Bühler Group is collaborating with the there-for-you.com platform out of conviction. Bühler is guided by its core concerns to feed the world safely, reduce emissions and increase customer success.
With the opening of the CUBIC Innovation Campus in Uzwil, Buhler expressed not only its commitment to new technologies and innovation, but also its attachment to its main location in Switzerland, where the history of Bühler began. All over the world, Bühler process technology solutions are used in the production of numerous foods and feeds as well as advanced materials. In the CUBIC, the intention is to promote innovation in a sustainable manner. The goal is to bring the brightest minds of the various industries together in this place.
The there-for-you.com team was pleased to be the first external start-up to take its place in the Bühler community. Bühler gave the three platform founders the opportunity to further develop ideas within the CUBIC and prepare them for launch. Touchpoints quickly emerged on various levels. The initiatives of there-for-you.com were in many ways congruent with the sustainability focus to which Bühler is so committed. This was illustrated at the Bühler Networking Days, when the start-up presented its ideas for the future.
Bühler is a sparring partner for the creators of there-for-you.com, supporting and challenging them at the same time. Its role is to open doors to investors, be a critical observer of the idea, provide support (video productions, etc.) and broker contact with exciting partners. Bühler also played a major role in the crowd-donation platform’s first project of its own, “there-for-trees”, by facilitating the connection to the Crowther Lab at the ETH in Zurich.
Both partners are proud and very eager to expand their collaboration. Bühler and the there-for-you.com community are planning a project with the working title “Bühler Forest” in the first half of 2020. Bühler intends to use the project for its business and directly improve its carbon footprint. Planting trees in the vicinity of all Bühler sites would directly help the climate to begin reducing CO2 levels. The there-for-you.com platform will support the project with know-how, advice and support, and by collecting donations for its realisation within the community. “Bühler Forest” is to become an example of best practice for many other companies.
